Girl Scout Badge Day January 2005

We taught high school girls the basics of car operations and maintenance. They learned to change oil, change a tire, check fluids, etc. They looked at traditional cars as well as a hybrid electric car to see what was the same and different. The girls had a great time. As an added bonus everyone got to ride the Zachway (a homemade Segway made by Zach). Since the event one of the girls said that she has actually used the information we taught her and even changed the oil in her car at home!
