Open House 2005

Several hundred middle school students from around the Tulsa area came to TU to learn about engineering careers. When students arrived at TU they stopped first at one of our prior HEV projects (the Paradyne) and visited with team members to learn more about hybrid-electric technology. Once inside they traveled through a variety of activities. At the Challenge X table they explored toy car technology and discovered which of those ideas carried on to being used in modern automobiles. They also had a chance to see fuel cells in action. The students had a great time & had a lot of good questions.
